My life has been a whirlwind lately. The past 2 weeks I have been traveling for work, the weekend between I moved to a new temporary home and the weekend before I went to the beach. I've literally had very little time to breathe much less blog.
The beach was amazing. It was warm, just not warm enough to lay out. I was there with Vision Airlines, a new airline hubbed in Destin. They were participating in a Mardi Gras festival and needed some girls to come help promote the airline and man the "boat float" in the parade. It was so fun. We had a great time decorating, throwing beads to everyone and enjoying the weather. We have been dubbed the "Vision Girls."
We got home Sunday evening with just enough time for me to pack for my trip on Monday morning. I headed out Monday morning to Washington and Oregon for a new client visit and implementation. The trip went well and we got so much done. That part of the country is so pretty, one day I'll go back and actually have time to do some of the fun stuff the city has to offer.
I flew home Thursday and packed my house up all day Friday. Mom and J came up Friday night to help me finish packing so that we would be ready to pack the truck on Saturday morning. Dad came Saturday morning to help move my furniture. Those poor men. I felt so bad. My furniture is so freaking heavy and they were such troopers. I have promised that the next time I move (in May or June, yes 3 months) I will hire movers.
We got my stuff moved in and were so tired that I just didnt have it in me to unpack the boxes so I waited to do that to Sunday. I finally finished everything at 10 pm Sunday with just enough time to repack my suitcase for my second work trip. This time we went to Southern Cal (San Diego) and Northern Cal (San Fran and more) to visit current clients and prospects. I got to see the Golden Gate Bridge which is awesome in person. Another city I will visit again.
Now I'm home (for 2 weeks), with time to breathe and blog. One day I will be able to blog about more than just my update on life and instead get to write out some of the things I'm thinking and feeling. One day my life will slow down, or atleast I am hoping it will. One day.
